LUKE GREEN

SD Legion are excited to welcome Luke Green.

Luke is coming to us from the UK where he has been playing for London Irish. Luke is only 22 but has an impressive rugby background, gaining international honors when he represented England at both U18 and U20 levels.

“Luke has been a promising talent in the English premiership academy system at London Irish for a number of years, representing the England U20’s two years in a row and is now developing into mens rugby nicely with appearances for London Irish first team and Ampthill rugby in the championship. He is known for his size and strength, making him a strong scrummager at the set piece but also mobile in the loose being a explosive ball carrier and dominant tackler. Everyone who works with Luke speaks highly of his professionalism and his keen attitude to keep improving and developing into an international tight head. We’re excited to help assist him on his development but also excited to have him on the field for us as we know he will add a lot of value to the team” from Head Coach, Danny Lee

This is a loan agreement between the Legion and the London Irish meaning that Luke will be returning to London before the 2023-24 season.
