JAXX JACKSON

"Born and raised locally, Jaxx (he/they) is no stranger to San Diego’s ever-evolving, amalgamative culture. Throughout his life, he’s engaged in many sports – skateboarding, kung fu, golf, tennis, basketball, track & field – though none have sung to him like rugby. They began playing while earning their B.A. in Graphic Design from PLNU and were instantly hooked! Jaxx’s favorite aspects of rugby include contact, lineouts, and developing deep synergy and trust with teammates. They’ve played across 3 clubs in their 7 years of playing (San Diego Surfers, Santa Barbara Rugby Academy, and San Diego Armada), began coaching girl’s rugby at Patrick Henry HS, and recently joined Legion as our in-house Graphic Designer! He recently concluded his final Surfers D1 15s season with a National Championship win and plans to continue his playing career with Old Aztecs. Their hope is to continue to combine their artistic and athletic backgrounds to continue growing the game in their hometown – and the States!"
