FROM THE COACH: PREPARING FOR AN EPIC 2025 SEASON
Hi Legion Crew,
John Manenti here, your new head coach for the 2025 season. I’m settling in well after a month here in San Diego — the winter sunshine has been nothing short of impressive. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting some wonderful supporters, staff, and players who have made me feel incredibly welcome, and I look forward to meeting many more of you in the months ahead.
The good news is I’ve worked out how to drive on the right side of the road and am getting used to navigating the big motorways!
On the rugby front, my assistant coaches Dave Clancy and Alex Corbisiero and I have been busy with lots of preparation and planning. We’ve been out to see our youth teams and the Centurions play, and we’re already starting to get the local boys moving. I can’t wait to have the full squad together after Christmas.
Wishing you all the best for the holidays! Bring on the New Year — it’s going to be a fantastic one for Legion fans.
