We are excited to welcome Shilo to SD Legion. Although he is no stranger to California as Shilo was born in Sacramento before moving to NZ and being raised in Christchurch. Shilo has an impressive rugby background with representing Canterbury at U19 level and then going on to gain higher honors when he represented NZ U20s in 2019. He has played in the National Provincial Championship for Canterbury and also had a season in 2022 with the Canturbury Crusaders, who won the Super Rugby Championship.

He’s been involved in the Canterbury and Crusaders system so we will be looking forward to him bringing experience and professionalism from that environment with him. He’s local and therefore has ambitions of representing his country and playing for the Eagles so we’ll be doing what we can rugby wise to enable this to happen” from Head Coach Danny Lee
