San Diego, CA.— San Diego Legion, a Major League Rugby franchise, is delighted to announce the signing today of Canadian international player Josh Thiel.

Thiel played at center during the World Rugby U20 Trophy in 2017 and went on to earn his first international cap during the 2018 Americas Rugby Championship in a winning match against Chile.

“We are excited by the skill and versatility Josh brings. He gives us a lot of backline options. We can’t wait to see what he can do in the MLR,” said San Diego Legion backs coach Zack Test.
